What's the difference between a fascinator, a headband, and a hat?
A fascinator is a lightweight decorative headpiece — feathers, mesh, or fabric detail — attached to a clip, comb, or narrow band, rather than a full hat brim. It sits on the head rather than covering it, so it's cooler and easier to wear all day than a structured hat.

Will this meet the dress code for the Royal Enclosure at Royal Ascot?
Royal Ascot's Royal Enclosure requires a hat or headpiece with a solid base of at least 10cm (4 inches) in diameter — fascinators without that base aren't admitted, though they're welcome in the Queen Anne, Village and Windsor Enclosures. Check the base diameter of this piece against your enclosure's requirement, or contact us before you order if you're not sure.

Can I wash or clean it?
No — please don't wash your fascinator or headband. Spot-clean gently with a dry cloth and store it in its box between wears to keep feathers and trims in shape.

Does it come gift-boxed?
Yes — every headband and fascinator arrives individually wrapped in its own gift box.

Will it arrive in time for my event?
Standard UK delivery is 2–4 working days (free over £70). Next Day Delivery is available for £7.99 via Royal Mail Special Delivery when ordered before 1pm on a working day. We ship worldwide, with a small number of country exceptions.

What if it doesn't go with my outfit once it arrives?
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery provided the item is unworn, unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. We're a small business so we're not currently able to offer free returns, and bespoke, personalised, sale items and gift cards can't be returned.

Do you offer a discount for group or bridal party orders?
Yes — we offer a discount for groups buying multiples of the same style. Get in touch before you order and we'll sort a code for you.
